Brussels delegation get a feel of Singapore real estate
BDNA also played host to a visiting delegation from Brussels on September 9.
Organised by hub.Brussels, a Brussels real estate mission led by Secretary of State of the Brussels-Capital Region, Pascal Smet, visited Singapore from September 9 to 11 to learn more about Singapore’s property market through the Singapore government’s master development plan, investment opportunities and visits to notable property developers. The next day was a visit to neighbouring Johor Bahru to find out about future urban projects that the Malaysian government has planned.
The delegation which comprised members from more than 20 companies in architecture, law, investment, academia, business federations and government agencies together with Belgian ambassador to Singapore His Excellency Andy Detaille.
BDNA’s managing director Adrien Reymondet introduced the company to the visitors, followed by Koen Cardon, CEO of Belgian logistics firm Katoen Natie, who shared about the state of industrial real estate in Singapore and that its business units such as petrochemicals and supply chain engineering, are the company’s internal real estate customers.
